Music Starts Here and Evanston Band and Orchestra/The Saxophone Shop have a large inventory of high quality rental instruments that are ready for rental. Our inventory consists of the name-brand instruments that music educators have recognized as quality instruments suitable for music study, such as Yamaha, Conn, Selmer, Gemeinhardt, Bach, Lewis, Jupiter, Buffet, Glaesel, Vito, King and Holton to name a few.

Come into one of our locations, or our school services representatives can deliver your rental and/or supplies to your child’s school. Should a repair be necessary, we can pick up the instrument from the school and provide a loaner while the instrument is repaired. Our service is friendly, fast and efficient and second to none in Chicagoland. Services can be requested online or by phone. If you wish to purchase an instrument, we offer the best way to purchase by providing special renter’s discounts off list price of brand new instruments of your choice.
